Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely
- Strong customer service skills
- Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to understand and use simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable time rates
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly approach
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely while driving cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
