Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Availability for open schedule
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
  • Ability to provide friendly and professional guest assistance
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold valid driver’s license for state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions and write correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to location
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved places
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
