The company is currently seeking dedicated Guest Service Associates to join their team. This full-time role offers an hourly base pay starting at $10.98 plus an additional $5 to $10 per hour in tips, with a work schedule requiring open availability. The position is crucial as it directly influences the first and last impressions guests have of the facility. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for not only parking and retrieving vehicles safely and promptly but also for assisting guests with their luggage, providing directions, information about local attractions and facilities, and managing guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth. These associates engage with guests from arrival to departure, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed, valued, and well taken care of. Responsibilities in this role include maintaining a friendly demeanor, operating vehicles with care, delivering exceptional customer service, and managing parking logistics efficiently. In addition to the base duties, the Guest Service Associate interacts with guests by escorting them, assisting with reservations, taxi arrangements, and providing detailed explanations of parking rates and procedures. Team members also complete detailed vehicle information records, oversee the exchange of claim checks and keys, and sometimes shuttle guests in company-approved vehicles. This position demands a balance of interpersonal skills, physical capability, and adherence to safety and operational policies. Candidates are expected to have a valid driver's license, knowledge of customer service principles, and preferably the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles and perform parallel parking. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions

  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Availability for open schedule

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold valid driver’s license for state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions and write correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to location
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved places
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
