Job Requirements

- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle up to 100 pounds occasionally

- Customer service experience preferred

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one or small group situations
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using American money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates related to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and safely
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and information about local amenities
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect parking revenue as needed
- Post up in designated areas when not performing tasks
