Towne Park is currently seeking a Guest Service Associate to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring guests receive friendly, efficient, and personalized service throughout their stay. The Guest Service Associate will be responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and promptly, assisting with luggage during arrivals and departures, and providing information and directions to enhance guests' overall experience. This position offers hourly pay ranging from $9 to $10, with additional tipping opportunities from $5 to $10 per hour, making it a rewarding role both financially and professionally. Shifts can vary and include morning and evening hours, providing flexibility for the right candidate.

Job Requirements

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Must be able to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
  • Ability to understand applicable rates and time systems
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Able to stand or sit for long periods
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to travel up to 5 percent
  • Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or a commutable distance
  • One month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
  • Greet guests promptly within five feet and use guest last names during interaction
  • Use proper phone etiquette and post in designated areas when not performing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and assist guests with luggage and bell services
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi information, reservation assistance, and local attraction details
  • Explain parking rates and procedures upon guest arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to vehicle retrieval
  • Maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect revenue for parked vehicles as necessary
