Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hotel group sales experience
- Proven success in developing and closing new business
- Knowledge of hotel operations and group sales processes
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Delphi or FDC
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- 5+ years of hotel group sales experience
- Strong track record in business development and closing new accounts
- Deep understanding of hotel operations, sales strategy, and group booking processes
- Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and strong business correspondence abilities
- Self-starter with strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Proactively identify, pursue, and close new group business opportunities across key segments including corporate, association, SMERF, and catering events
- Build and maintain a targeted account base through outbound prospecting, networking, site visits, and trade show participation
- Develop and execute sales action plans aligned with department goals focusing on revenue generation and market share growth
- Lead detailed client communications, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely
- Serve as a mentor and resource within the sales team, supporting strategic discussions and departmental initiatives
- Maintain accurate records in CRM (Delphi/FDC preferred) and follow up to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Participate in industry events, site inspections, and community organizations to enhance property visibility and generate new business leads
- Uphold brand and service standards through professional communication and a solutions-oriented mindset
