- 5+ years of experience in hotel group sales
- proven success in business development and account closing
- familiarity with CRM software such as Delphi or FDC
- excellent communication and negotiation skills

Job Duties
- Proactively identify, pursue, and close new group business opportunities across key segments including corporate, association, SMERF, and catering events
- Build and maintain a targeted account base through outbound prospecting, networking, site visits, and trade show participation
- Develop and execute sales action plans aligned with department goals focusing on revenue generation and market share growth
- Lead client communications, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and complete all required documentation accurately and timely
- Serve as a mentor and resource within the sales team supporting strategic discussions and departmental initiatives
- Maintain accurate records in CRM (Delphi/FDC preferred) and ensure follow-up for repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Participate in industry events, site inspections, and community organizations to enhance property visibility and generate new business leads
- Uphold brand and service standards through professional communication, presentation, and solutions-oriented mindset
