Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hotel group sales experience
- Proven success in business development and closing new accounts
- Knowledge of hotel sales strategies and group booking procedures
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Delphi or FDC
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willingness to participate in travel for site visits and industry events

- Deep understanding of hotel operations, sales strategy, and group booking processes
- Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and strong business correspondence capabilities

- Ability to mentor and collaborate within a team environment
Job Duties
- Proactively identify, pursue, and close new group business opportunities across key segments including corporate, association, SMERF, and catering events
- Build and maintain a targeted account base through outbound prospecting, networking, site visits, and trade show participation
- Develop and execute sales action plans in alignment with department goals with a focus on revenue generation and market share growth
- Lead detailed client communications, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and timely
- Serve as a mentor and resource within the sales team supporting strategic discussions, brainstorming sessions, and departmental initiatives
- Maintain accurate records in CRM (Delphi/FDC preferred) and consistently follow up to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Participate in industry events, site inspections, and community organizations to enhance property visibility and generate new business leads
- Uphold brand and service standards through professional communication, presentation, and a solutions-oriented mindset
