The Sales Manager role within our hotel is pivotal to driving the success of our sales and marketing strategies. Reporting directly alongside the Director of Sales and the Events Coordinator, this position requires a dynamic individual who can spearhead sales initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, and enhance the hotel’s market position. This role involves the development and implementation of comprehensive sales and marketing plans which are in line with organizational goals and financial objectives. The Sales Manager is responsible for supervising sales operations, identifying new business opportunities through cold calling and client engagement, and maintaining strong client relationships to boost revenue streams. Furthermore, this role entails analyzing market data and trends to provide relevant insights to senior management for decision-making purposes. The Sales Manager will also actively participate in budgeting processes, ensure the preparation and modification of sales and marketing contracts, and coordinate appointments and client visits. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, demonstrate strong financial understanding particularly in budget forecasting and analysis, and exhibit exceptional customer service ethics. Job Requirements

- At least 3 years of office administrative management experience
- One year of hotel sales experience

Job Duties
- Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans

- Provides relevant analytical information to the Director of Sales and the General Manager by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing market data and trends
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Participates in preparing budgets and provides periodic progress reports to staff directors for any event projects
- Prepares and modifies sales and marketing contracts as requested
- Coordinate appointments and visits to meet and follow up with established clients as we to develop new client relationships
