Job Description

We are a prominent hospitality company managing a diverse portfolio of four distinctive hotels, each known for delivering exceptional guest experiences and superior service standards. Our company is dedicated to the growth of its properties through innovative sales strategies and impeccable event management, catering to a wide variety of clientele including corporate groups, leisure travelers, weddings, and special interest markets. Located in a prime area, our hotels offer a blend of condo-style suites and extended stay options to accommodate different guests' needs and preferences.

We are actively seeking a well-experienced and motivated Sales & Catering Manager to join our dynamic team in an in-person capacity. This key role will focus on proactively generating group and event business across all our hotel properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction every step of the way. The position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $70,000 annually and an attractive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and more.

As the Sales & Catering Manager, you will have a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding our group business footprint. You will utilize a combination of outreach techniques including cold calling, networking, and community partnership development to generate new leads and build strong client relationships. Managing multiple hotel properties or large resort settings with diverse offerings, you will oversee the creation and thorough detailing of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group contracts with precision.

This position demands a proactive approach and a passion for the hospitality industry, requiring the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings, depending on client needs. Working closely with food and beverage and operations teams across our portfolio, you will ensure that every event is flawlessly executed, maintaining high standards of service and responsiveness to client requests. Your role will also involve monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing sales reports, and adapting strategies to exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.

Additionally, the Sales & Catering Manager will represent the hotels at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions, furthering the brand's presence and expanding the business network. On-site presence during events is essential to manage logistics, address any last-minute client requests, and ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of hotel sales and catering experience, preferably in a resort or condo-hotel environment, and a strong command of technologies such as Salesforce, Delphi, or Maestro.

Job Requirements

  • Prior hotel sales and catering experience
  • Minimum 3 years in hotel sales and catering

  • Familiarity with extended stay and condo-style suites

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of successful hotel sales and catering experience, preferably in a resort or condo-hotel environment
  • Experience managing events and sales for multiple hotel properties or a large resort with diverse group offerings
  • Proficiency in BEO development, group contracts, and post-event follow-ups
  • Strong understanding of corporate, SMERF, wedding, and leisure markets
  • Familiarity with condo-style hotel suites and extended stay clientele
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Tech-savvy, with experience in Salesforce, Delphi, Maestro, or similar platforms
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • A proactive, energetic, and hunter sales mentality with a passion for hospitality

Job Duties

  • Proactively generate group and event business through outreach, networking, cold calls, and community partnerships for all four hotels
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, client meetings, site tours, proposals, contracts, execution, and post-event follow-up
  • Write and detail all Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision and clarity
  • Serve as the main point of contact for group clients, ensuring exceptional service across all stages of the event process
  • Collaborate with F&B and Operations teams across the hotel portfolio to guarantee seamless event execution
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze sales reports, and adapt strategies to exceed monthly and annual revenue goals
  • Represent the portfolio at networking events, tradeshows, and industry functions
  • Be actively present during events to manage logistics, resolve last-minute requests, and ensure client satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals for room nights and catering revenue
