Job Description

The Sunny is a distinguished hotel located right on the sand in Sunny Isles Beach, known for its genuine hospitality, thoughtful design, and a welcoming environment that encourages guests to return multiple times. As part of the Davidson Hospitality Group portfolio, The Sunny is more than just a place to stay—it is a vibrant community dedicated to creating memorable experiences for every guest. Davidson Hospitality Group is an award-winning, full-service hospitality management company that oversees an extensive range of hotels, restaurants, dining, and entertainment venues across the United States. With a reputation as a trusted partner and preferred operator for recognized brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Kimpton, Marriott, and Margaritaville, Davidson offers an entrepreneurial management style and owners’ mentality. This approach blends the personalized service of a small company with the extensive skills and experience of a larger organization. Davidson is structured across four specialized operating verticals: Davidson Hotels, Pivot, Davidson Resorts, and Davidson Restaurant Group. The company’s core commitment is to deliver exceptional value and service to both owners and team members, and this ethos extends into the company's rich benefit program that supports the wellness and growth of its employees and their families.

The role of a Room Attendant at The Sunny is a fundamental part of maintaining the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position requires a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in creating inviting and immaculate guest room spaces. As a Room Attendant, you are charged with preparing guest rooms to the highest cleanliness standards—tasks include making beds, changing linens, replenishing guest amenities, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming floors and carpets, and reporting maintenance issues. The Room Attendant works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring strong time management skills, the ability to work independently or collaboratively, and a positive, professional demeanor when interacting with guests and other team members.

Additionally, The Sunny’s Room Attendants follow strict health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Attention to detail is critical in this role, as the presentation of each room directly contributes to the overall guest experience and the hotel's reputation. Working at The Sunny gives you the opportunity to join a passionate team that values your contribution and fosters career growth in the hospitality industry. Davidson Hospitality Group supports its employees with comprehensive benefits, including multiple tiers of medical coverage, dental and vision insurance, 24/7 teledoc services, free maintenance medications, pet insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off (vacation, sick, bereavement, and holidays), 401K match, and hotel discounts. The company emphasizes a workplace culture that feels less like just a job and more like a calling, where every team member has a role in redefining quality hospitality through exceptional service and dedication.

By joining The Sunny as a Room Attendant, you become part of an energetic team committed to providing exceptional guest experiences while enjoying a supportive environment that values your skills and contributions. This position offers flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, and fosters personal and professional development within a respected hospitality group dedicated to excellence.
