Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or similar field preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
- Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Graduated from high school
- Received additional education in a skills training school
- English literacy
- Familiarity with the routine operations in guest floor housekeeping
- Flexibility with work schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Proficient knowledge of chemical handling and cleanliness measures
Job Duties
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
