Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar field preferred but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
  • Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Graduated from high school
  • Received additional education in a skills training school
  • English literacy
  • Familiarity with the routine operations in guest floor housekeeping
  • Flexibility with work schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Proficient knowledge of chemical handling and cleanliness measures

Job Duties

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
  • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables
