previous serving experience preferred

Job Duties

Interact with guests and ensure a great dining experience
serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner
be attentive to guest needs making them feel welcome comfortable important and relaxed
prepare tables laying out napkins and utensils refilling condiments and performing preparation tasks
stay updated on menu choices specialties and kitchen inventory
handle table bookings direct customers to tables present menus suggest dishes assist in drink selection inform customers about food preparation communicate customer needs to cooks
maintain proper dining experience deliver items fulfill customer needs offer desserts and drinks remove courses replenish utensils refill glasses
prepare mixed drinks and pour wine tableside
obtain revenues issue receipts accept payments return change
perform basic cleaning tasks assist with special events greet guests warmly adhere to grooming standards
understand and communicate products and services available
have familiarity with basic cooking skills
