We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant Worker to join our award-winning team at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Orem. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment where your handyman skills will be highly valued. The role calls for familiarity with general maintenance tasks such as painting, simple electrical work, plumbing, and carpet cleaning, along with the proficient use of hand and power tools. The position involves working five days per week with some weekend shifts possible. You will be a vital part of ensuring that guests enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere through prompt attention to maintenance needs and upkeep of the property.
Our company, in alignment with Hilton brand standards, prioritizes the safety of both employees and guests by maintaining a "clean stay" environment. The Maintenance Assistant Worker position pays $16.00 per hour and offers a range of benefits including medical insurance, dental insurance, 401(k) employer matching, paid time off starting from day one, and employee discounts. Employees also enjoy opportunities for growth and advancement within the Woodbury Group of hotels, along with exclusive Hilton hotel discounts of up to 75% worldwide.
The ideal candidate for this role is personable, reliable, and able to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds (including overhead lifting), standing for extended periods, bending, and stooping throughout an eight-hour workday. You should be able to work collaboratively with team members and relate well to hotel guests, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
