Job Description

Sandpiper Hospitality (SH) is one of the fastest-growing companies in the extended stay hotel market. Known for its dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards across its properties, SH prides itself on a culture that celebrates service and continuous improvement. Their properties are designed to offer a home-like atmosphere for extended stay guests, which requires consistent upkeep and rigorous maintenance to ensure comfort, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Sandpiper Hospitality highly values its employees and fosters an environment where team members are inspired to deliver outstanding service through a core value of "We Are Inspired - Service." Alongside this, SH cultivates a culture of recognition and growth, encouraging each employee to contribute their best to the company's success. Being a part of SH means joining a team where individual efforts are rewarded, professional development is prioritized, and a collaborative work ethic is encouraged.

The Maintenance Attendant position at Sandpiper Hospitality is a critical and hands-on role responsible for maintaining the overall quality and functionality of the extended stay hotel properties. This role involves performing general and preventive maintenance tasks covering various aspects of the facility, both inside and outside, including plumbing, electrical, painting, cleaning, and grounds upkeep. The Maintenance Attendant is the frontline problem-solver who ensures all maintenance work meets the Value Place Brand Standards and supports a seamless guest experience. This role requires a keen attention to detail to uphold the visual appeal and operational integrity of the properties – all while prioritizing guest satisfaction and safety.

Operational duties of this role include light plumbing and electrical repairs such as toilet and faucet repairs and outlet or wall switch replacements, executing preventive maintenance programs like painting, caulking, and janitorial work, and preparing rooms after guest check-out. Additionally, maintaining common areas such as parking lots and ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance schedules are essential tasks. The Maintenance Attendant will also be involved in property support functions like laundry duties, cross-training for other attendant responsibilities, and emergency response support, including being on-call as needed.

Sandpiper Hospitality values those with a proactive sense of urgency and a dedicated "All In" spirit who are eager to uphold the quality standards that guests expect. The company rewards efforts with generous paid time off, comprehensive healthcare options, travel perks, incentive programs, and ongoing training for career growth. This role not only offers a hands-on position in property quality but also an opportunity to grow professionally within a fast-growing hospitality brand. If you have a blend of practical maintenance skills, dependability, and a commitment to guest-centered service, Sandpiper Hospitality is eager to welcome you as their next Property Quality Hero.
