Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience in hotel or facilities maintenance
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems
- Ability to perform preventive and emergency maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly
Job Duties
- Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs for hotel equipment including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and elevators
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Ensure all hotel facilities including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained in excellent condition
- Maintain compliance with brand standards for property upkeep and appearance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations including fire safety and building codes
- Perform regular safety inspections and maintain records of certifications and inspections
- Monitor and manage energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices
- Manage the department's budget for maintenance, repairs, and supplies
- Source and negotiate with vendors for equipment, parts, and service contracts
- Respond to and resolve emergencies such as power outages, plumbing failures, or HVAC issues to minimize guest impact
- Develop and implement contingency plans for major breakdowns or disasters
- Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and food and beverage teams to address maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large-scale projects
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and expenses
- Report regularly to the General Manager or ownership on maintenance activities, issues, and improvements
