Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a hospitality environment
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for guest interactions
  • Experience in housekeeping management is advantageous but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms including dusting vacuuming mopping and sanitizing surfaces
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies hallways and restrooms
  • Change linens make beds and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
  • Conduct floor care duties including sweeping mopping and carpet cleaning as necessary
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed to ensure an adequate supply of clean linens
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with hotel policies
