We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Housekeeping Inspector to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for performing final inspections of all guestrooms after they have been cleaned to ensure that they meet and exceed company, brand, and guest expectations. The hours for this role are 7am to 3pm, and candidates must be available to work both weekdays and weekends, ensuring consistent quality assurance throughout the property.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic hotel environment where attention to detail and a passion for high standards are essential. In addition to thorough room inspections, the Housekeeping Inspector will assist with cleaning tasks when rooms or areas do not meet the required standards. The inspector supports ongoing training and education of housekeeping staff regarding company and brand standards, fostering a culture of excellence with a professional and respectful approach. The inspector also plays a vital role in identifying maintenance issues, managing inventory of housekeeping supplies, and ensuring that all lost-and-found items are properly logged and stored securely.

Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping in a hotel environment is required
- advanced knowledge of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping best practices
- excellent attention to detail with high levels of successful communication
- ability to work at a fast pace while under pressure
- ability to encourage co-workers to perform their best work in a positive and respectful manner
- ability to multi-task and remain flexible in a stressful environment

Job Duties
- Inspects the daily cleaning of assigned rooms, corridors, storage areas, and public areas to ensure housekeeping assignments are completed to the highest standard
- assists in cleaning guestrooms and any areas which did not pass inspection
- ensures brand and company standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness are maintained throughout the hotel
- educates housekeeping staff about company and brand standards in a professional manner
- notifies Housekeeping Manager of any ongoing issues
- works in all areas of housekeeping department when needed
- ensures lost-and-found items left by guests are logged and stored in a secure location daily
- checks for damaged items, missing items or maintenance issues and corrects or submits a work order
- notifies Housekeeping Manager or General Manager of any safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practice and procedures
- assists with monthly inventory of housekeeping supplies and notifies Housekeeping Manager of low inventory
- assists with inventory deliveries including unpacking and restocking
- communicates in a professional manner with co-workers, managers and guests
