The Cincinnatian Hotel is currently seeking full-time Housekeeping Attendants to join its dedicated team. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, ensuring every guest enjoys a pristine and comfortable environment during their stay. The hotel is hiring for all shifts, including weekdays and weekends, providing opportunities for individuals with flexible availability. As a Housekeeping Attendant at The Cincinnatian Hotel, your primary purpose will be to maximize customer satisfaction by meticulously cleaning guestrooms to meet company and brand standards. You will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and orderliness of assigned rooms, ensuring they are guest-ready at all times. This includes removing soiled linens, replenishing room amenities, cleaning bathrooms, dusting surfaces, vacuuming, and managing trash and debris removal. Reporting maintenance issues and unusual circumstances promptly to management is also a vital part of the job, ensuring swift resolution to any guest room concerns.

Job Requirements

  • One year of housekeeping experience preferred
  • Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last minute changes in scheduling
  • Must be available to work weekend shifts
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning techniques and safe use of chemicals is essential
  • Must be able to change tasks and adjust energy level needed to accommodate a fast-paced environment
  • Must achieve required threshold scores according to brand and company inspections
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning techniques and safe use of chemicals
  • Ability to change tasks and adjust energy level needed to accommodate a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to achieve required threshold scores according to brand and company inspections
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensures customer satisfaction by cleaning customer rooms according to SREE and brand standards
  • Removes soiled bed and bath linens and replaces with clean linens as required
  • Removes accumulated trash and debris from room as required
  • Cleans bathroom area, dusts all surfaces, replenishes room amenities, cleans floors and vacuums rooms as required
  • Reports unusual circumstances to hotel management
  • Reports maintenance requests and replacement orders
  • Maximizes job efficiency by ensuring the supply cart is neat, stocked and orderly
  • Ensures quality and quantity of the contents of the linen closet by organizing and cleaning it and notifies housekeeping manager or supervisor immediately if any stock shortages exist
