Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles
Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures
Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
Effective communication skills
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on housekeeping
Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and waxing
Familiarity with hotel operations and standards of cleanliness within the hospitality industry
Excellent custodial skills with an eye for detail to deliver consistently high-quality results
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
Experience managing housekeeping tasks in busy hotel settings or similar environments is preferred

Job Duties

Thoroughly clean and disinfect guest rooms including beds, bathrooms, floors, and surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of public spaces including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational areas
Care for flooring through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor treatments to preserve quality and appearance
Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety
Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate janitorial and industrial cleaning supplies
Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for guests and staff alike
