Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weight safely
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning janitorial work or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on quality service
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces using industrial cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service
- Ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
- Experience with industrial cleaning tools and supplies to handle large scale or specialized cleaning projects
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms including beds bathrooms floors windows and furniture ensuring all areas meet hotel standards for cleanliness and presentation
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets mopping hard floors and maintaining overall floor appearance using industrial cleaning equipment
- Restock supplies like toiletries linens towels and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Maintain public areas including lobbies hallways elevators restrooms and other shared spaces with meticulous attention to detail
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards
- Support housekeeping management in training new team members and maintaining efficient workflow processes
