Job Description
Tru is a vibrant hospitality establishment that operates under the renowned Kinseth Hotel Corporation umbrella, a company known for its commitment to quality, guest satisfaction, and employee well-being. As a growing entity within the hospitality industry, Tru prides itself on maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming environments for all guests. With a reputation built on professionalism and exceptional service, Tru offers various opportunities for career growth within the housekeeping department and beyond.
Currently, Tru is expanding its housekeeping team and is inviting candidates to apply for two key positions: the Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeepers. These roles are integral to the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all guest spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep.
The Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor position is a full-time role, designed for candidates with prior housekeeping experience who are eager to take a step forward in their hospitality careers. This role not only involves supervising housekeeping tasks but also requires strong organizational skills to maintain staff schedules and uphold franchise standards. The starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour, with the potential for higher compensation based on experience, making it an appealing opportunity for those seeking a dependable, rewarding career in hospitality.
Housekeepers play a vital role in creating a positive guest experience by maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel. Tru is looking to fill 1-2 full-time housekeeping positions with individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in their work. Housekeepers receive a starting wage of $15.00 per hour, reflective of the importance and responsibility of their role. The positions require strong attention to detail to ensure that rooms and public areas are cleaned to franchise standards in a timely and efficient manner.
At Tru, employee welfare is a priority, and the company offers an attractive benefits package after 60 days of employment. These benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, empowering employees to maintain their well-being both at work and in their personal lives. Additional perks like DailyPay, paid training, paid time off (PTO), and a 401k plan contribute to a comprehensive support system that fosters a positive work environment and encourages long-term retention.
An exciting referral program and discounts at all Kinseth Hotel Corporation hotels and restaurants are also offered, creating incentives for team members to engage with the broader company community. The culture at Tru is one of respect, teamwork, and excellence, where employees are valued and supported to perform their best.
The housekeeping role is physically demanding and requires stamina and careful adherence to safety protocols. Employees must be capable of lifting and moving weights up to 50 pounds occasionally, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, waxing floors, emptying trash, replenishing supplies, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the appearance and functionality of rooms and public spaces. The responsibilities also emphasize guest interaction, ensuring courteous communication and upholding security policies to protect guest privacy. Housekeepers are essential in upholding the high standards that Tru is known for and play a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience.
For candidates who are hardworking, dependable, and passionate about maintaining pristine environments, Tru offers a fulfilling and stable employment opportunity. This is an ideal role for individuals seeking to develop their hospitality skills while contributing to a respected and growing hotel brand. Whether you aspire to take on leadership as an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor or contribute as a dedicated Housekeeper, Tru welcomes your application and promises a supportive, dynamic work environment where your efforts are recognized and rewarded.
