Job Qualifications
- previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles
- familiarity with hospitality standards
- demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
- knowledge of janitorial supplies cleaning equipment and proper chemical handling procedures
- experience managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment within the hospitality industry
- strong attention to detail with an energetic approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- ability to work independently or as part of a team while adhering to safety guidelines and operational procedures
Job Duties
- perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms including making beds dusting vacuuming and sanitizing surfaces
- maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies hallways restrooms and dining spaces by sweeping mopping and disinfecting floors regularly
- handle laundry duties efficiently by washing folding and organizing linens and towels to support operational needs
- restock supplies such as toiletries towels and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times
- follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to promote a safe working environment
- conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns and report them promptly
- assist with janitorial tasks during special events or peak periods to support overall hotel operations
