We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is vital in ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness and maintenance standards. The Hotel Housekeeper will perform various tasks including cleaning, sanitizing, managing laundry duties, and ensuring the overall appearance of the hotel is pristine. The role is in-person and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $15.50, reflecting the importance we place on quality service and employee dedication. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work early mornings evenings weekends or holidays as needed
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cleaning janitorial work or hospitality roles is preferred
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals
  • Experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms including making beds dusting vacuuming and replenishing supplies
  • Perform floor care duties such as mopping sweeping and carpet cleaning to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Ensure public areas such as lobbies hallways and restrooms are tidy and well-maintained
  • Handle laundry duties including washing folding and organizing linens and towels
  • Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
  • Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
