As a Housekeeper at Sandpiper Hospitality, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a spotless and inviting environment for every guest and staff member. This is a physically engaging position where your primary responsibility involves cleaning assigned areas such as guestrooms, the lobby, corridors, elevators, laundry facilities, and stairways per company standards. Your attention to detail directly contributes to the overall guest experience, embodying the company's core value to "Bring the Energy." In addition to maintaining cleanliness, the Housekeeper will manage supplies, waste, and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations. You will replenish essential supplies like bathroom necessities, linen, and terry, and organize housekeeping carts for efficiency. Guest interaction is also a key element, requiring you to greet guests warmly and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere throughout the property.

Safety and security form the backbone of the job, with strict adherence to policies aimed at protecting employees, guests, and company property alike. Proper chemical handling and use of cleaning tools help prevent injuries, accidents, or damage. You will also support operational functions such as handling house laundry—sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens—and maintaining the cleanliness of laundry areas.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Clean hotel areas including guestrooms, lobby, corridors, elevators, laundry facility, and stairways according to company standards and within required time frames
  • replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, linen and terry in various areas
  • transport trash and waste to the disposal area efficiently and hygienically
  • stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment to ensure readiness
  • greet guests in a warm, friendly manner providing a welcoming presence
  • strictly adhere to safety and security policies to ensure safety of self, guests, and company property
  • use all materials, chemicals, and tools safely to avoid injury, waste, or damage
  • perform house laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing company linen and terry
  • contribute to the cleaning and organizing of the House and Commercial Laundry areas
