The role of Hotel Housekeeper at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center is critical in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction the hotel is known for. This position requires dedication to service excellence, as it entails cleaning and upkeep of not only guest rooms but also public spaces throughout the property. The housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that all guest areas are spotless and inviting, contributing directly to the overall guest experience. Duties include detailed tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and polishing furniture and fixtures. The housekeeper also manages cleaning supply inventory and reports maintenance issues, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment. Additionally, housekeepers provide guest services by responding to inquiries and delivering requested items, showcasing a commitment to proactive and attentive service. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain positive and courteous under pressure. - Prior professional cleaning experience

- Ability to pass a physical exam through Carr Physical Therapy before employment

Job Duties
- Clean public areas including restrooms hallways breakrooms and other front and back of house areas
- Clean guest rooms including dusting vacuuming changing bed linens and cleaning bathrooms
- Perform tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures vacuuming mopping sweeping washing windows assisting in laundry cleaning buffing floors and disposing of interior and exterior garbage
- Report maintenance concerns and items in need of repair
- Stock and maintain cart and supply rooms as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects
- Deliver guest requested items
- Direct guests to guest rooms and meeting rooms as needed
- Handle guest inquiries ensuring overall satisfaction and creatively resolving challenges
