As a Housekeeper at Sandpiper Hospitality, you will be the backbone of guest comfort and the champion of cleanliness. This role is critical in ensuring that every guest enjoys a spotless environment and impeccable presentation throughout their stay. Your primary duties include cleaning guestrooms, lobby areas, corridors, elevators, laundry facilities, and stairways within required time frames, adhering strictly to hygiene and comfort standards. You will replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities and linens, manage waste efficiently and hygienically, and maintain housekeeping equipment and carts to ensure readiness for daily tasks. Additionally, you will greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming presence on the property.

Safety and security are paramount in this role. You will adhere strictly to safety and security policies to protect guests, staff, and company property. Proper use and handling of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment are essential to avoid injuries or accidents. Beyond cleaning, you will also support house laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens, and help maintain and organize laundry areas.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to handle chemicals and cleaning equipment safely
