In this role as a Housekeeper at Sandpiper Hospitality, you become the backbone of guest comfort and the champion of cleanliness. The position is a physically demanding, hands-on role integral to ensuring the spotless upkeep and impeccable presentation of guest rooms and common areas throughout the hotel. The Housekeeper is responsible for meeting and exceeding company standards in cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation to create an inviting atmosphere for every guest. Your work directly impacts guest satisfaction, and your attention to detail reflects Sandpiper Hospitality’s core value of "Bring the Energy." This role goes beyond cleaning tasks to include safety adherence, equipment maintenance, guest interaction, and supporting laundry operations.
As a Housekeeper, your day-to-day duties will include cleaning guestrooms, lobby areas, corridors, elevators, stairways, and laundry facilities efficiently while maintaining company standards within designated timeframes. You will replenish essential supplies such as bathroom necessities, linens, terry, and glassware to ensure all guest areas are fully stocked and ready for use. Proper management of waste disposal and maintaining housekeeping carts and equipment in a ready state are also key responsibilities. Beyond cleaning, you will uphold safety and security policies to protect guests, employees, and company property. This includes the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and materials to prevent accidents or damage.
The position also includes vital laundry duties, where you sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens and terry, as well as maintain the cleanliness and organization of both house and commercial laundry areas. Throughout your work, you will foster a welcoming presence by greeting guests warmly and courteously. - transport trash and waste to disposal areas efficiently and hygienically
- stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
