Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven work experience in housekeeping or janitorial services
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting
- strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance
- familiarity with hotel operations and standards for guest room sanitation and public area upkeep
- excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
- ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment
- perform detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in all public areas
- restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs and hotel standards
- handle janitorial duties including waste removal, surface disinfection, and deep cleaning of high-touch areas
- maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel's visual appeal
- follow safety procedures during cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
- assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled by management to ensure ongoing quality standards
