Hired as a hands-on, physical position, the Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning assigned areas meticulously according to company standards, ensuring that every part of the hotel—from guestrooms to common areas—is hygienic, spotless, and inviting. A Housekeeper’s daily responsibilities include a wide variety of cleaning tasks within a specific time frame, replenishing supplies like bathroom necessities and linens, managing waste efficiently, and maintaining housekeeping equipment. Beyond these duties, the Housekeeper actively contributes to safeguards by adhering to strict safety and security policies, ensuring a secure environment for guests, staff, and property. Additional responsibilities cover the handling of chemicals and materials safely to prevent accidents, performing house laundry tasks such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing textiles, and supporting facility organization and cleanliness, including laundry areas. This role requires a friendly and welcoming disposition, as Housekeepers are also expected to greet guests warmly and maintain a positive presence throughout the property.
