The role of Housekeeper at Sandpiper Hospitality is pivotal to maintaining the pristine condition of the property and ensuring that all guest areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. As the cleanliness champion, the Housekeeper plays an essential role in supporting the wider operations of the hotel, including guest interaction, safety, and support functions like laundry and facility maintenance. The position involves cleaning guestrooms, lobbies, corridors, elevators, laundry facilities, and stairways efficiently and thoroughly according to company standards within set time frames. Beyond cleaning, the Housekeeper is responsible for replenishing supplies such as bathroom necessities and linens, managing waste safely, maintaining housekeeping equipment, and ensuring a welcoming presence for guests through friendly interactions.
Safety and security are paramount in this role as the Housekeeper must strictly adhere to all company health and safety policies to protect themselves, guests, and company property. Proper handling of cleaning chemicals and tools is required to prevent accidents or damage. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or similar cleaning roles preferred
- ability to perform physical labor involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended durations
- reliable and punctual work ethic
- ability to follow instructions and adhere to company cleaning standards and protocols
- good communication skills
- commitment to safety and security policies
- legal authorization to work
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Clean hotel areas including guestrooms, lobby, corridors, elevators, laundry facility, and stairways according to company standards and time frames
- replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, linen and terry in guest rooms and restrooms
- transport trash and waste to the disposal area efficiently and hygienically
- stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment to ensure readiness
- greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming presence throughout the property
- strictly adhere to safety and security policies to protect personal safety, guest safety, and company property
- perform house laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing company linen and terry
- contribute to cleaning and organizing house and commercial laundry areas
