We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our dynamic team. This leadership role is integral to our day-to-day operations, focusing on maintaining and enhancing guest satisfaction while driving team performance and operational efficiency. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with department heads and cross-functional teams to oversee the hotel’s activities, ensuring smooth coordination and adherence to established protocols and brand standards. This position demands a proactive professional with strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for assisting in managing all hotel departments, supporting team members through training and motivation, and resolving guest concerns with professionalism and promptness. This role also involves contributing to the scheduling, inventory management, and daily reporting tasks to help optimize hotel performance. Moreover, the AGM will step in as the Manager on Duty when required, exemplifying operational excellence and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff. Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands regularly
  • Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Adherence to all KHC policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional image and punctuality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Experience with employee supervision and conflict resolution

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel or hospitality management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of reservation and front desk operations
  • Proficiency in cash and credit handling procedures
  • Experience training and supervising staff
  • Familiarity with hotel safety and emergency protocols

Job Duties

  • Assist in overseeing all hotel operations and departments
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally
  • Support, train, and motivate team members
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies
  • Help manage scheduling, inventory, and daily reporting
  • Step in as Manager on Duty as needed
  • Coordinate front desk activities and resolve guest issues
  • Hire, train, and schedule front desk staff
  • Communicate with department heads to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Manage reservation systems including inventory and rates
  • Enforce cash and credit card handling procedures
  • Ensure guest safety and security
  • Monitor night audit for accuracy and prepare reports
  • Train and oversee Van Driver and Housemen positions
  • Maintain full front desk coverage including audit shifts
