Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry with a strong focus on the SMERF segment
  • Proven ability to exceed sales goals and revenue targets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Ivvy or Delphi and MS Office Suite

Job Duties

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new group sales opportunities within the SMERF segment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SMERF clients, acting as their primary point of contact to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Conduct site tours and presentations, showcasing property amenities and services to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless client experiences from planning through execution
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to stay competitive and maximize market share
  • Prepare and manage sales contracts, proposals, and other required documentation
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts and pipeline reports to the Director of Sales
