With a footprint spanning over 200 locations across 38 states and three countries, SHG has built a solid reputation as an innovative and diversified hospitality operator. The company manages a wide portfolio that includes globally recognized brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt, alongside independent, boutique, and lifestyle properties and restaurants. This wide-ranging presence reflects SHG's commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and fostering a dynamic work environment for its associates.
SHG’s mission centers on creating a service culture imbued with respect, authenticity, and a sincere commitment to prioritizing the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. The organization is passionate about cultivating an environment where hospitality professionals feel empowered, engaged, and inspired to contribute positively to their teams and guest experiences. SHG takes pride in its employee-focused approach, emphasizing inclusivity, professional development, and career growth within a supportive and flexible workplace.
The Housekeeper role at Schulte Hospitality Group is integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that guests expect. As a valued member of the housekeeping team, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all public spaces and guest rooms within the hotels meet the company’s established quality standards. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who take pride in creating welcoming environments and who enjoy contributing to the overall guest experience through meticulous upkeep and service excellence.
In this role, the Housekeeper routinely cleans and maintains public areas such as restrooms, hallways, stairwells, and other communal spaces. Responsibilities also include stripping linens and removing trash from guest rooms as necessary, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture and artwork, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors. The role involves emptying carts of soiled linens, disposing of waste, and occasional guest service duties such as delivering requested items and assisting with room cleaning as needed. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential, as these periods often require additional staffing to keep pace with hotel demands.
Beyond the daily duties, SHG offers Housekeepers a vibrant and rewarding employment experience. The company promotes a culture where employees feel valued and supported through unique benefits such as Daily Pay, enabling associates to access earned wages immediately. Additionally, employees have access to free telemedicine and virtual mental health care services starting from day one, multiple health and life insurance options, and a 401k plan with company match. Paid parental leave, paid time off, holiday pay, and pet insurance further enhance the attractive benefits package. Employee assistance programs and exclusive discounts on event tickets, electronics, gym memberships, and more illustrate SHG's commitment to well-being and work-life balance.
Overall, joining Schulte Hospitality Group as a Housekeeper means becoming part of a dedicated, service-driven team focused on hospitality excellence and career advancement. SHG's inclusive workplace and continuous investment in employee growth make it a standout employer in the hospitality sector for those seeking a fulfilling and stable career.
