As the General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Downtown, you will be the driving force behind the overall success of the hotel. This leadership role involves overseeing all departments including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Maintenance to ensure seamless hotel operations. You will be responsible for spearheading strategic initiatives that promote revenue growth, profitability, and strict expense management, aiming to meet or exceed the financial goals set forth by the brand and ownership. Your leadership will be integral in upholding the highest standards of guest service aligned with Hilton’s brand values, ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding and memorable experience.
In this role, you will hire, train, and mentor a dynamic team to cultivate a culture centered on accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence. Your leadership skills will be crucial in fostering employee engagement and driving performance across all levels of the organization. As the General Manager, you will also ensure that all operations comply with brand, safety, and regulatory requirements, maximizing guest safety and comfort while minimizing operational risks. Analytical capabilities will be essential, as you will regularly analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for operational enhancements and implement corrective actions where necessary.
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in hotel leadership such as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager role, preferably within the Hilton brand, with a strong track record of achieving revenue targets and high guest satisfaction scores. You will demonstrate strong communication, decision-making, and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L oversight. Job Requirements
- Must have prior hotel leadership experience (AGM or GM preferred)
- Strong communication skills
