Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in General Manager role
  • At least 1 year brand experience required
  • Experience in select service hotel preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong team management skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance guest service scores and profitability
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a General Manager
  • At least 1 year brand-specific experience
  • Preferred experience in select service hotel management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Strong leadership and large team management skills
  • Developed time management capabilities
  • Proven track record of improving guest service scores and profitability
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks effectively

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented demeanor in guest and staff interactions
  • Foster open communication and develop a high-quality aligned staff
  • Manage financials, P&L, and payroll to sustain profitability
  • Ensure compliance with licensing and permit regulations
  • Maintain security and safety systems with proper inspections
  • Drive property-wide training and development to enhance guest services
  • Promote professional relationships and effective communication across teams
  • Communicate goals and delegate tasks with timely follow-up
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential operational issues
  • Analyze data to make beneficial business decisions
  • Address concerns from guests and staff professionally
  • Delegate tasks effectively to qualified staff
  • Achieve financial results aligned with budget objectives
  • Adapt duties as business demands evolve
