The role of the Hotel General Manager is critical in steering the overall operations of the hotel towards efficiency and profitability. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 and requires an on-site presence at the hotel. As the General Manager, you will oversee multiple departments ensuring compliance with company and franchise standards while driving the hotel’s financial performance. You will be responsible for monitoring labor standards, staffing guidelines, and promoting interdepartmental communication through regular meetings. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 1 year general manager experience or 2 years management experience with at least 1 year in hospitality
  • valid motor vehicle operator’s license in good standing

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • previous experience as a general manager in a similar hotel preferred
  • minimum 1 year experience as general manager or 2 years management experience including hospitality
  • proven track record of increasing profit while exceeding brand and corporate goals
  • effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • ability to operate office equipment and PMS software
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • proficiency in Google Apps preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensures attainment of established budgeted goals for all departments
