Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
  • Familiarity with night audit procedures and financial reporting within a hotel setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Previous experience with front desk operations including knowledge of reservation systems and guest services protocols is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Supervise front desk operations ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
  • Manage and train front office staff fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance
  • Oversee guest relations addressing any concerns or complaints promptly to enhance overall guest experience
  • Conduct night audits to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services local attractions and events to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations
  • Handle multi-line phone systems effectively demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while managing incoming calls
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel
  • Monitor inventory levels for front desk supplies and order as necessary to maintain operational efficiency
