Job Description
Sandpiper Hospitality (SH) is one of the fastest-growing companies in the extended stay market, known for its dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences while fostering a dynamic and supportive work environment. As a branch of Sandpiper Property Management, LLC (SPM), the company embraces comprehensive hospitality management and operates recognized and respected lodging properties. Sandpiper Hospitality prides itself on promoting a core culture defined by the value "We Are All In," emphasizing teamwork, integrity, and excellence across every level of operation. The company is committed to offering equal employment opportunities to all individuals and maintains a drug-free workplace to ensure a safe and professional environment for its staff and guests.
Joining Sandpiper Hospitality as a Guest Services Ambassador (GSA) means becoming the essential face of the hotel, providing guests with memorable first impressions and ensuring seamless operational flow across multiple departments. This role is critical and multifaceted, requiring a diligent and personable individual to handle front desk operations with efficiency, accuracy, and thoroughness. The employment type generally involves on-site shifts that demand your presence throughout the entire shift to support guest services and hotel operations robustly. While this role is customer-facing, it also entails substantial support tasks behind the scenes to ensure smooth property management and overall guest satisfaction.
As the Guest Services Ambassador, you will play a pivotal role in delivering superior guest relations by greeting visitors warmly and engaging with them to assess and enhance their stay experience actively. You'll coordinate front desk activities such as check-ins, move-outs, renewals, reservations, property tours, and sales events, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple tasks seamlessly. Your commitment to safety and compliance is paramount, including monitoring the premises, responding effectively in emergencies, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are rigorously followed and documented. Beyond guest interaction and operational duties, you will be instrumental in sales and revenue management by executing lead processes, meeting marketing goals, and managing ancillary sales to meet guest needs and maximize profitability.
This comprehensive role also involves hands-on support with laundry duties and other maintenance tasks, ensuring the hotel's physical environment remains welcoming and in excellent condition. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be called upon to cross-train and step into various non-management positions to maintain uninterrupted service quality. The ideal candidate blends hospitality finesse with strong communication, conflict management, and negotiation skills while possessing the ability to stay calm and resourceful under pressure. Your contribution will directly impact the hotel's reputation for excellence and its operational success, making this position not only a guest service role but a core utility of the entire property.
If you enjoy a diverse, high-contact role that balances front-of-house polish with back-of-house support and thrive in a collaborative team environment, the Guest Services Ambassador position at Sandpiper Hospitality offers a rewarding career path. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality, eager to grow within a fast-paced industry, and dedicated to delivering excellence at every guest interaction.
