The role of the hotel front desk agent is vital to our operations and directly influences our guests' experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. As a front desk agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for welcoming them warmly, managing room bookings, and handling inquiries about room rates, amenities, and special services. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously will contribute to smooth daily operations. This role requires a service-focused mindset, with a passion for assisting guests and resolving any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Compensation for this position ranges from $13 to $14 per hour, reflecting the importance of the role and the value we place on quality service.

As a member of our guest services team, your duties will extend beyond just the reception desk. You will be involved in general bookkeeping to keep guest account information accurate and up-to-date, ensuring seamless billing and payment processes. You will coordinate with housekeeping to verify that guest rooms are prepared and meet our standards before check-in. Additionally, you will manage customer complaints tactfully, striving to turn any negative experiences into positive outcomes. The job demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle phone calls efficiently, and proficiency with reservation management systems and Microsoft Office. Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a front desk or similar customer service role, is highly preferred but not essential. Job Requirements
