Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer knowledge including Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time
  • Fluent in English
  • Positive and outgoing demeanor
  • Knowledge of local area including Carmel, Hamilton County, and Indianapolis
  • Experience with Marriott Guest Services preferred

  • Basic computer knowledge including Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office

  • Preferred 2 or 4 year degree
  • Marriott Guest Services experience preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferred

Job Duties

  • Greeting and registering guests
  • Assists in pre-registration and room blocking
  • Prepares groups for arrivals
  • Navigates guests around local area with recommendations
  • Resolves guest challenges and ensures satisfaction
  • Processes payments and balances cash, checks, and credit cards
  • Answers guest questions and communicates with other departments
  • Processes mail, shipping, receiving, luggage, laundry, copying, and faxing
