SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte City Center is currently seeking full-time Front Desk Associates to join their dynamic team. This role is critical as Front Desk Associates are the first point of contact for guests and play a vital part in shaping guests' experiences and impressions of the hotel. The position requires flexibility to work shifts from 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm, including weekdays and weekends, highlighting the importance of availability to meet the high standards of hospitality expected by Marriott. One notable benefit of employment is the offer of daily pay, with access to up to 50% of earned wages available immediately after each shift.

The front desk role encompasses several responsibilities, including greeting guests warmly at check-in and check-out, managing reservations and payments, providing information about the hotel and local area, and assisting with guest inquiries or concerns. Front Desk Associates are expected to have excellent customer service skills, a cheerful disposition, and strong attention to detail to ensure every guest enjoys a smooth and pleasant stay. Additionally, associates will use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and loyalty programs, contributing to the hotel's revenue and guest satisfaction.

Candidates for this role should possess at least one year of experience in a similar position and demonstrate competency in using Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel. Familiarity with hotel reservation systems such as Lightspeed, FOSSE, or OnQ is advantageous. The job demands excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and good interpersonal communication. The work environment is primarily indoors and requires standing and walking for long periods, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks with a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced setting. Fluency in English and the flexibility to adapt to various scheduling needs, including weekends and holidays, are essential.

Job Requirements
