We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and service-focused Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our guest services team. This role is vital as the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for delivering a positive and seamless experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service, and the ability to manage various front desk operations efficiently. This position involves greeting guests, managing accounts, handling inquiries, and resolving complaints to ensure every guest's needs are met promptly and satisfactorily. Job Requirements

  • Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry

Job Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
  • displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills
  • well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations

Job Duties

  • Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises
  • distribute keys and room assignments
  • record credit card information
  • take incoming calls, online and in-person room booking requests
  • answer questions about guests' needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
  • general bookkeeping to ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
  • work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests
  • mitigate customer complaints as needed
