As a recognized name in the hotel industry, McKibbon Hotels focuses on delivering high-quality services and creating memorable stays for guests. The company's commitment to excellence, community involvement, and employee development has made it a respected brand among travelers and industry professionals alike. McKibbon Hotels operates a range of properties including full-service hotels, each featuring unique amenities tailored to meet the needs of business and leisure travelers.

The role of Food & Beverage Supervisor at McKibbon Hotels is a key leadership position located within the hotel’s restaurant and banquet services team. The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees the food and beverage outlets as well as meeting spaces, ensuring operational excellence and outstanding guest satisfaction. This role involves both front-of-house and back-of-house supervision, emphasizing quality control, profitability, and adherence to brand standards. Embracing McKibbon’s guiding principles—which include thinking bigger, loving your community, doing the right thing, supporting each other, and making a lasting impression—is essential to succeeding in this role.

In this position, the Food & Beverage Supervisor actively monitors the food preparation and service processes throughout the facility, ensuring every guest receives a consistent and high-quality experience that aligns with McKibbon’s standards. The supervisor is responsible for controlling profit and loss within the food and beverage operations by managing inventory, budgets, food costs, invoice coding, and expense tracking. Collaboration is a critical aspect of the role, requiring close coordination with the hotel’s sales team to maintain meeting spaces and with the corporate culinary team to plan meals and menus.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor also engages in administrative functions such as scheduling staff, participating in kitchen and department head meetings, and executing banquets by overseeing culinary production, event setup, and staff assignments. Additionally, this position places strong emphasis on training and developing both front and back-of-house associates, focusing on food presentation, preparation methods, guest service, and overall quality. Creativity and leadership are valued traits, with responsibilities including enhancing sales through innovative approaches in the lounge and food outlets while maintaining a safe working environment with initiatives to reduce accidents.

McKibbon Hotels prioritizes a workplace culture where fun and support thrive. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is expected to personify this culture by fostering a positive, engaging working environment that motivates the team and promotes continuous improvement. This role is ideal for individuals with previous supervisory or managerial experience in food and beverage outlets, particularly those with a background in hotel operations, and who possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

In return for dedication and skill, McKibbon Hotels offers full-time associates a competitive compensation package, including a comprehensive benefits plan featuring medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and pet insurance, disability insurance, and paid time off. Employees also benefit from career development opportunities such as training classes and workshops, a 401K savings plan with company matching, referral programs, and various personal wellness initiatives. McKibbon Hotels recognizes the importance of its people and invests in creating an environment where hospitality professionals can enjoy long and successful careers while enjoying a balanced and fulfilling work life.
