Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance and repair work
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate with guests and team members
- Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and use Lockout/Tagout systems
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation and painting
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Duties
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment including cleaning and lubrication
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
- Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on various equipment and plumbing
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
- Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping
- Display basic computer skills and input air handler schedules
- Follow all safety and security policies
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
