Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
  • Some experience in general maintenance and repair work
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate with guests and team members
  • Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and use Lockout/Tagout systems
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
  • Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation and painting
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Respond and attend to guest repair requests
  • Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment including cleaning and lubrication
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
  • Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement
  • Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on various equipment and plumbing
  • Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
  • Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping
  • Display basic computer skills and input air handler schedules
  • Follow all safety and security policies
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
