Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- some experience in general maintenance
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, twisting, and reaching
- ability to use Lockout/Tagout system
- adherence to safety policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus
- ability to communicate effectively
- basic computer skills
- knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance
Job Duties
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
- perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
- visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- carry equipment such as tools and radio
- identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings
- maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
