Job Requirements

  • Hotel management, general business or marketing degree preferred
  • Two or more years hotel experience, prefer hotel sales experience
  • Proactive personality and work style
  • Strong team builder
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and understand STR reports, both weekly and monthly
  • Prompt and regular attendance
  • The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, requiring flexible scheduling and possible overtime
  • Current and valid drivers license
  • Willingness to travel overnight as necessary
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook and other property documents

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure ability to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies
  • Operate the sales department within established sales expense budget
  • Directly responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals as established by Area, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing and/or General Manager
  • Achieve and grow local account and global account partnerships
  • Communicate needs directly to hotel operations team to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate, prepare and achieve goals set in annual Marketing Plan
