The Bartender is responsible for crafting a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring each drink meets brand standards for quality and presentation. Bartenders will take orders, suggest and upsell drinks, and maintain a clean and organized bar that is always well stocked. Additionally, the bartender will operate the Micros POS system for order entry, check presentation, and payment processing.

Compliance with California liquor laws and Responsible Beverage Service standards is a critical responsibility, requiring vigilance in monitoring guest behavior and refusing service when appropriate to ensure safety and legal compliance. The role also demands a strong knowledge of the menu, including drink recipes and daily specials, and the ability to anticipate guest needs, delivering prompt and attentive service even during peak periods. Collaboration with the team extends to assisting with monthly inventory management and bar organization to keep operations smooth.

Ideal candidates possess prior bartending or mixology experience, preferably within hotels or high-volume bars, and hold a minimum age of 21 to serve alcohol legally in California. The position requires certifications in Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handling, either current or obtainable, alongside proficiency in POS systems, ideally Micros. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with guests in English are essential, with bilingual skills considered a plus.

Job Duties
