Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 or older
  • previous bartender or mixologist experience preferred
  • valid RBS Certification
  • valid Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain
  • proficiency with POS systems, Micros preferred
  • strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work Monday through Friday
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to multitask
  • team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist, preferably in a hotel or high-volume bar
  • must be 21+ years of age
  • strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
  • experience with POS systems, Micros preferred
  • RBS Certification required
  • Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to communicate with guests in English, bilingual skills a plus
  • ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive, outgoing personality

Job Duties

  • Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to brand standards
  • provide exceptional guest service in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner
  • take orders, make recommendations, and upsell beverages to enhance the guest experience
  • maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
  • operate Micros POS system for order entry, check presentation, and payment processing
  • ensure compliance with California liquor laws and Responsible Beverage Service standards
  • monitor guest behavior and refuse service when appropriate
  • maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, drink recipes, and daily specials
  • anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, attentive service
  • promote a positive guest experience by being knowledgeable about hotel services and local attractions
  • assist with monthly inventory and bar organization
