Job Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist
- RBS certification
- Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
- Experience with POS systems, Micros preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to communicate with guests in English
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist, preferably in a hotel or high-volume bar
- Must be 21+ years of age to serve alcohol in California
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
- Experience with POS systems, Micros preferred
- RBS certification required
- Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with guests in English, bilingual skills a plus
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive, outgoing personality
Job Duties
- Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to brand standards
- Provide exceptional guest service in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner
- Take orders, make recommendations, and upsell beverages to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
- Operate Micros POS system including order entry, check presentation, and payment processing
- Ensure compliance with California liquor laws and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) standards
- Monitor guest behavior and refuse service when appropriate including intoxication and minors
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, drink recipes, and daily specials
- Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, attentive service even during busy periods
- Promote a positive guest experience by being knowledgeable about hotel services and local attractions
- Assist with monthly inventory and bar organization
