Job Requirements

Must be 21 or older
Previous bartending or mixology experience
RBS certification
Food handler certification or ability to obtain
Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
Experience with POS systems
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Reliable and punctual
Positive and outgoing personality

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist (hotel or high-volume bar preferred)
Must be 21+ years of age (required to serve alcohol in California)
Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
Experience with POS systems (Micros preferred)
RBS certification (required)
Food handler certification (required or ability to obtain)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate with guests in English (bilingual skills a plus)
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive, outgoing personality

Job Duties

Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to brand standards
Provide exceptional guest service in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner
Take orders, make recommendations, and upsell beverages to enhance the guest experience
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
Operate Micros POS system (order entry, check presentation, payment processing)
Ensure compliance with California liquor laws and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) standards
Monitor guest behavior and refuse service when appropriate (intoxication/minors)
Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, drink recipes, and daily specials
Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, attentive service—even during busy periods
Promote a positive guest experience by being knowledgeable about hotel services and local attractions
Assist with monthly inventory and bar organization
